It is with great sadness and shock that I opened my mail yesterday.
This is a copy of a note I received.
Below is a picture that was enclosed.
As it turns out, the critics were right.
I cannot support a candidate who drinks with Tom Davis.
That is why I am calling on Not Larry Sabato (if that's what your real name is) to withdraw his candidacy for the 2009 Lt. Governor's race.
In the word's of my informant, "I am waiting..."

I think that the Harris Miller for Lt. Governor 2009 crowd are behind this.
These people are fanatics and will stop at nothing. Where did you get these photos?
Miller is a vicious political streetfighter and a Jim Moran $11,500 donor who has been using push polls to attack Jim Webb. Miller has instructed his operatives to claim to be calling on behalf of the Pew Center of the DPV.
Miller may not care if he loses this year's Senate race, being in it only to build up name recognition.
Remember that NLS creamed Miller ten-to-one in a recent poll asking who the Dems should run for the all-important Lt. Gov. spot in 2009.
Then all of a sudden these photos mysteriously turn up on a website known to be highly partial to Miller's covert LG campaign.
Admit it.

Do you dispute that Harris Miller knows he will lose in 2006, and is seeking name recognition for the 2009 LG race?
Even HM himself doesn't deny that while of course he would like to beat Webb and Allen, his realistic goal is to snag the #1 Virgina plates, which by custom go to the LG. (The governor doesn't drive himself and so doesn't get them.)
I hope that you will recognize what is going on here. HM is pretending to seek one office while actually seeking another.
This is all part of Harris's master plan.
